Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges: A Guide to Week 3

As has been the case since the latest season arrived, the latest set of Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges is finally here. In other words, you better start grinding.

Here are all the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges for Week 3, as leaked by the Fortnite Tracker website.

Here’s a quick guide to solving all of them:

  • Watch a Match Replay

Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges

This is by far the easiest of all the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges so far if not ever. This is, no doubt, Epic’s ploy to try and get players to use Fortnite’s replay mode, which was introduced just this April.

  • Deal Damage With Pistols to Opponents (500)

This one is relatively easy, but it’ll be a bit of a grind. Not only are pistols not the best guns in the game, they’re also not the most popular. If you want to get this over with by jumping into one of the more crowded areas, like Anarchy Acres, Fatal Fields, Salty Springs, Tilted Towns, or Tomato Springs, pray that RNG gifts you a pistol before anyone else and just start shooting the first guy you see. If you’re lucky (and good enough), it shouldn’t take too long for you to get this over with.

  • Search Chests in Lonely Lodge (7)

If you want to try and hit two birds with one stone, you can jump directly into Lonely Lodge every game and hunt for chests from the get-go. Be careful, though, because this place is almost always swarming with people.

  • Search Rubber Duckies (10)

This is last week’s equivalent to being asked in front of film cameras, only that this time, you’re going to have to look for rubber duckies. Now, we don’t exactly know what they are yet. However, all signs point out to it being another in-world pickup, like a treasure chest, or ammo box. Regardless, this should be a new environmental item we have never seen before.

We’ll have more information on where you can find the rubber duckies as soon as Week 3 goes live.

UPDATE: As it turns out, it actually is a new environmental item that you can pick up that’s scattered all over the map. YouTuber HarryNinetyFour has a complete guide to where you’ll find each of the 10 rubber duckies.

  • Follow the Treasure Map Found in Salty Springs (1) (HARD)

Just like the rubber duckies, we have no idea as of yet as to exactly where the treasure map is and where it will lead. We will update this as soon as we have information on it.

  • Sniper Rifle Eliminations (2) (HARD)

Much like last week’s explosive weapon challenge, only that you’re going to have to use a sniper rifle. Considering the fast-paced nature of Fortnite, this should take you a while. So, as always, it’s best to play Duos or Squads so you can spread out and help each other out by looting sniper rifles to complete this quest. Of course, you can still do this solo. It just will be a lot harder.

  • Eliminate Opponents in Tilted Towers (3) (HARD)

The last challenge of Week 3 of the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Challenges is going to need a bit of planning, luck, and skill. Preferably, you’ll want all three because Tilted Towers is one of the game’s most popular places if not the most popular.

If you’re confident enough, you can try landing in Tilted Towers and get a quick kill early on in the game using nothing but your Pickaxe. If you’re good AND lucky, you should be able to get this over with after a match or two.

Carbide, Blockbuster and Omega

Other than the weekly challenges, Fortnite Season 4 also added a number of new challenges that you can complete throughout the season: Carbide, Blockbuster, and Omega.

Compared to the weekly challenges, these season-long challenges are more focused on rewarding progression than having you headshot others or taking photos in front of hidden cameras all over the map.

Here’s all of them:

Having said that, don’t forget to make use of the challenges and unlock Battle Pass tiers the moment you buy yourself the Season 4 Battle Pass. Not only will you unlock a wide assortment of goodies as you complete each challenge, but the game is just a lot more enjoyable when you have other side activities to do other than trying to get a Victory Royale.

Also, as should already be obvious, you can only gain access to these challenges if you have the Season 4 Battle Pass.
